Both the Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grow well in Cyprus and both bring special qualities to the Hadjiantonas blend. Syrah is a rich and spicy full-bodied red, whilst Cabernet Sauvignon is elegant and complex and the result is a harmonious relationship that is like velvet yet powerful! The wine has the classic aroma of cooked blackberries and green peppers with a touch of vanilla from the oak barrel. This wine goes perfectly with beef and pork and is classically paired with Steak au Poivre.
Whilst is tastes good as a young wine it tastes even better when it is 4-5 years old. 13.5% vol.
